At PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION, we will strive to provide basic needs to the students of poor sections to continue their education. For this we planned to provide stationary to the students, scholarships to meritorious students and most importantly providing Mid-day meals to students of Intermediate. PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION was the first to start such program, later some inspired by also took part in our pious program. We at PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION need your support to help the poor sections of rural masses.
This program of Mid-day meal may be taken lightly by many people, but this program will certainly increase the attendance to schools and colleges. Many villages surrounding my school and college are agriculture based villages and the students to school and college, virtually are from poorer sections. Students particularly girls are not given much support from their home as their parents proceed to their work early in the morning. So, the students themselves have to find their way to prepare and pack food for them in the morning and in the afternoon. Many who can't engage themselves to prepare food themselves and bring it with them to the school or college choose to quit studies and therefore their studies come to an end.
I could not find much reason why students are quitting their studies. After careful study, I understood that the main reason for this is that they are not having enough time to come to college after having done all the preparation of food and so on. There was no provision from the Government to provide mid-day meal to the high school and College children. So, I wished I would do something to stop this practice, merely quitting studies for a simple looking problem. I started providing mid-day meal to the students with my money and hoped someone may join this program and support this program some day. Even though the Government Started Mid-day meals program for the high school children, it is not sufficient enough to make the poor students to continue their studies. They need more support in terms of fees and other necessary requirements. So something is to be done in respect of these children.
PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION thinks to provide scholarships to continue their studies. As PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION we need your financial support to continue our effort to give the poor students the fruits of higher education. PEDDIREDDY ADI LAKSHMI FOUNDATION will strive for the welfare of these poor students who can't continue their studies due to poverty. The main reason what we are trying to say is that, in the present scenario, the Government is not providing any free education, when it comes to higher education. It really matters very expensive from rural areas of this place to afford the costs of Education like Engineering and other technical courses. So, it is necessary to lend a helping hand to these poorer sections of people to have higher education.
